-I have been running for over 16 years.

-My favorite races are 5k’s and marathons

5k: 19:56
Half: 1:29:22
Marathon: 3:11:23

What are your 2020 Racing plans and running goals?
I would like to stay injury free and run PR’s.

Any “bucket list” races?
Ekiden and HNL marathons

What is your average weekly mileage?
It can range from 30-50 depending on if I am training for a marathon

What is your favorite workout?
Tempo workouts

Favorite pre-race/post-race foods.
My favorite pre-race is a subway sandwich. When I ran the 2012 Boston marathon, Wesley Korir won the race. In an interview, he said he eats a subway sandwich before his races. So I tested it out at the 2012 Kona marathon and ate a footlong. I puked after I crossed the finish line. Since then, I stick to 6 inch.

What is your favorite running moment or running quote?
When I ran alongside and spoke to father and son, Dick and Rick Hoyt in the Boston marathon.

Describe your running before HRL and after.
I could never break 1:30 in the half until I trained with HRL.

Why does training with HRL work for you?
HRL is everything I ever wanted with a training plan. HRL is awesome!!
