How long have you been running?

I’ve been running since middle school on and off, seriously with racing and a training plan since my mid 30s.

Maui Marathon 3:05 5th 1st AG, Castle Peak 100k, Lake Sonoma 50 miler, Peacock 55 miler and Big Sur Marathon

What are your 2017 Racing plans and running goals?

Lake Sonoma 50, Maunawili 22, Castle Peak 100k, Peacock 55, Honolulu Marathon. I would like to complete a sub 3 hour marathon and finish a 50 miler successfully.

Any “bucket list” races?

Hardrock 100, UTMB, Ultra Pirineu, Tarawera, Gran Canaria, Transvulcania

What is your average weekly mileage?

80-100

What is your favorite workout?

Hill workouts and repeats

Favorite pre-race/post-race foods?

Complex carbs, beans, rice and some hummus.

What is the piece of running gear/food/drink that you cannot go without?

Hand held bottles, or hydration pack

What is your favorite running moment or running quote?

If it doesn’t hurt it, then it wouldn’t be worth it

Describe your running before HRL and after.

Scatterbrain all over the place, not much structure
